PEDIATRICIAN

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatrician to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services to infants, children, and adolescents. The Pediatrician will play a crucial role in monitoring patients’ growth and development, managing illnesses, and promoting overall health and wellness within the pediatric population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medical care and treatment to pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Monitor and assess patients’ growth, development, and milestones, providing guidance to parents on health, nutrition, and wellness.
  • Administer vaccinations and perform preventive health care services in accordance with recommended guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including specialists and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective treatment.
  • Educate patients and their families on health-related issues, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
  • Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in pediatric medicine and implement evidence-based practices in patient care.
  • Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs to promote children’s health.
  • Provide on-call and after-hours care as part of a shared practice arrangement.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with completion of an accredited residency in Pediatrics.
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics (or eligibility to sit for certification).
  • State medical license in good standing to practice Pediatrics.
  • Strong clinical skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with children and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.
