ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon to join our growing medical team. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and managing musculoskeletal conditions through both surgical and non-surgical methods. The Orthopedic Surgeon will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide superior patient care and improve the quality of life for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients’ conditions through thorough examinations and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and execute treatment plans for a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including fractures, arthritis, sports injuries, and joint replacements.
  • Perform surgical procedures as indicated, including arthroscopy, joint reconstruction, and limb realignment.
  • Provide perioperative care and follow-up for patients, ensuring comprehensive management throughout their surgical journey.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to create and implement rehabilitation plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-operative care instructions.
  • Stay current on advances in orthopedic practices and technologies, adhering to evidence-based approaches to patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental protocols, guidelines, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in continuing education opportunities and maintain board certification requirements.
  • Participate in on-call duties and provide timely consultations for orthopedic emergencies.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with successful completion of an accredited residency in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery (or eligibility to sit for certification).
  • State medical license in good standing to practice Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work within a team and support patients.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.
