LABORATORY ANALYST

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Laboratory Analyst will be responsible for conducting a variety of tests and analyses on samples to ensure high-quality standards are met in our laboratory processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex laboratory tests and analyses on various samples (e.g., biological, chemical, or environmental).
  • Prepare, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure accurate results.
  • Record and document experimental data, observations, and procedures accurately in accordance with laboratory protocols.
  • Analyze and interpret results, preparing reports and presenting findings to management and colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, complying with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in the development and validation of new test methods and procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional groups to achieve research and quality objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance lab skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proven laboratory experience (1-3 years preferred) in a clinical, industrial, or research setting.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures and quality control protocols.
  • Proficient in the use of laboratory instruments and software for data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Hazardous Materials Handling) are a plus.

Working Conditions:
