We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Laboratory Analyst will be responsible for conducting a variety of tests and analyses on samples to ensure high-quality standards are met in our laboratory processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex laboratory tests and analyses on various samples (e.g., biological, chemical, or environmental).
- Prepare, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure accurate results.
- Record and document experimental data, observations, and procedures accurately in accordance with laboratory protocols.
- Analyze and interpret results, preparing reports and presenting findings to management and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, complying with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in the development and validation of new test methods and procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional groups to achieve research and quality objectives.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure best practices are followed.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance lab skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven laboratory experience (1-3 years preferred) in a clinical, industrial, or research setting.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures and quality control protocols.
- Proficient in the use of laboratory instruments and software for data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Hazardous Materials Handling) are a plus.
